The Sno-Valley Indoor Playground a play space for kids ages birth to five, and is located inside the Si View Community Center at 400 SE Orchard Drive in North Bend. We’re open every Monday, Wednesday and Friday morning from 9:30-11:30am during the school year, and we follow the SVSD school year calendar for closures. For up-to-date information about play sessions and events, follow us on Facebook.
The Sno-Valley Indoor Playground is a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization that is 100% run by volunteers. Our programs operate via donations, fundraising events, community service grants, the support of various local businesses, and the time & energy of our dedicated volunteers.
We have four playscape areas for children to explore:
- An infant section with lots of toys to stimulate gross and fine motor skills
- A climbing area that encourages confidence and balance dexterity
- A large tumbling section with ramps for somersaults and foam blocks that make for great imaginative play
- A fast lane with trikes and cars for our littles whose engines are always revving
On top of all that, the kiddos get a chance to practice social skills while their grown-ups make connections with other local families.
IT TAKES A VILLAGE
For over 23 years, the Sno-Valley Indoor Playground has proven the cliché is true. Our village of volunteers has worked to provide a dry, safe place to play for 9 months of the year since 1996. We send many thanks to the playground’s founders and the plethora of volunteers who’ve followed!
IT TAKES A CO-OP
Our Board of Directors plans and manages the business aspects of running a non-profit organization, but the Indoor Playground is a hugely cooperative effort. An on-site Facilitator guides each playground session to ensure safety, but setting up & breaking down the playground is a group effort…even the kids help! In addition, our all-volunteer Board coordinates many free or low
-cost family programs throughout the year, including the Valley’s only local Preschool Fair every January and a Children’s Safety Fair in the Spring.
